We have 4 excellent Massage Therapists at Bollingberg Chiropractic.
Our Massage Therapists are certified and well trained in massage.
They specialize in Swedish massage, Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue/Trigger Point, Sports Massage, and Pregnancy massages.
The Massage Therapists at Bollingberg Chiropractic work together with the Doctors to give the patient the highest quality of care possible.

First, we will start out with a little anatomy lesson on the structure of the ear. The process through which we are capable of hearing is actually quite amazing.
It all starts with sound waves that enter the ear and hit the ear drum causing it to vibrate. It then vibrates to the inner ear, and causes the fluid in your ear to begin to move, which then moves the hair cells of your ear.
After that occurs, the hair cells send auditory signals along the auditory nerve - which is what translates into what you hear.
Ear lavage and candling is used to help clear wax out of the ears which may be causing symptoms such as hearing loss or dizziness.
The type of hearing loss that ear lavage and ear candling will help the most with is conductive hearing loss due to cerumen (or wax) in the ear that is not allowing the sound waves to get to the tympanic membrane in the ear properly.
Bollingberg Chiropractic utilizes Ultrasound and EMS therapy. They may be used individually or as a combination therapy.
This rehabilitative therapy helps to aid in the absorption of intracellular debris and cause increased vascular circulation.
Ultrasound therapy puts a deep heat into the muscle to help relax it, while the electric muscle stimulation helps to bring fresh blood flow to the area and decrease inflammation.
When you come in for your appointment the Doctor will evaluate and decide if this is a proper option for your individual case.
Several different types of supports are available.
We have elastic supports available for knees, ankles, and elbows.
The elastic support functions to help compress the area thereby decreasing the amount of swelling and helping to provide support to the injured area.
We also have Therapeutic knee guards available that can help with arthritis, tendonitis, and Chondromalacia.
The Doctor will work with you in determining if this type of support is right for you.
We sell many different nutritional supplements.
Shaklee is the brand of vitamin we sell in the office. There are many different products from Shaklee available. To learn more about Shaklee visit www.shaklee.com.
We also sell a different brand of Pro-Biotics which help to aid in digestion and the health of your stomach and GI tract.
Vitamins are very beneficial as it is very unlikely with the highly processed foods of today that we are consuming the amount of nutrition our body needs to properly function.
A high quality supplement is necessary for most people in order to acquire the amount of vitamins and minerals your body needs daily.
We sell two types of massagers in the office.
The most popular is the Jeanie Rub vibrating massager, which is used on almost every patient, every visit.
We also sell Thera-canes, they have a convenient shape that make it easy to work on trigger points and muscles that you would normally be able to reach.
If you have any questions about the massagers we have available, or a massager you are thinking about ordering either of the Doctors will be happy to answer your questions.
Heel lifts are available at Bollingberg Chiropractic.
Anatomically, both of your legs are not always the same length. This leg length discrepancy will change the way your body mechanically functions with every step you take.
If you are given a heel lift, it helps to balance out the discrepancy, thereby decreasing the amount of stress you are experiencing in your knee, hip, and back.
In order to determine if a heel lift is right for you we take an x-ray and measure your specific leg length. If the Doctor determines one leg is “short” you will then receive a heel lift to help balance out the discrepancy between your leg lengths.
Customized orthotics for your feet are available.
The customized orthotics we offer are the Foot Leveler brand. Foot Leveler orthotics help to provide support to the structure of your body that is abused the most, your feet.
They help to not only maintain the arch of your foot, but in doing so also help to keep your body in proper alignment and help you to feel good! A healthy body needs proper support, and the base of this support throughout most of our daily activities is our feet.

We perform both DOT and Sports Physicals at Bollingberg Chiropractic.
CDL/DOT physicals take anywhere from 20-30 minutes and consist of a vision test, height, weight, blood pressure, hearing test, auscultation of the lungs and heart, a neuromuscular exam, a urinary analysis, and relevant history questions.
Although we accept most insurances here, they will not cover the cost of a DOT exam.
If you have any questions about a receiving DOT/CDL exam feel free to contact our office.
In the state of Minnesota a sports physical is required every 3 years.
If you are an athlete at the collegiate level a sports physical is required as requested by your school (normally one every year before you are allowed to practice).
Sports physicals take anywhere from 20-30 minutes and meet the guidelines provided by the Minnesota State High School League.
At Bollingberg Chiropractic we are proud to offer in clinic digital x-rays.
When you come in for your first appointment, or a new injury, an x-ray may be taken as determined by the Doctor.
The ability to take our x-rays in office using our digital x-ray machine is of great benefit to the Doctor as well as to you the patient.
X-rays are very informative as they can tell us many things that the Doctor’s cannot feel during the exam.
When x-rays are taken in the office the Doctor will go over them with you, and explain any findings.
This is a very educational experience for the patient as they learn many things by having the ability to see their own personal x-rays and any problems that may arise from any pertinent findings.
There are many stretches and exercises we recommend for optimum health.
Please visit our full website or ask one of the doctors about stretches and excercise you can do to achieve maximum results.
Nutrition and Lifestyle advice are given to our patient’s as needed.
